  • American Association of Diabetes Educators
    Founded in 1973, AADE was created by and for diabetes educators, dedicated to providing our members with the tools, training and support necessary to help patients change their behavior and accomplish their diabetes self-management goals. AADE is constantly working towards the vision of successful self-management for all people with diabetes and related conditions.
  • American Diabetes Association
    The American Diabetes Association funds research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes; delivers services to hundreds of communities; and provides objective and credible information. Founded in 1940, their mission is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. To fulfill this mission, the American Diabetes Association publishes scientific findings, provides information and other services to people with diabetes, their families, health professionals and the public.

    Defeat Diabetes Foundation, Inc. (DDF), is a 501(c)3 charity, established in September 1990, was incorporated on November 21, 1991 under the laws of the state of Florida as a nonprofit corporation, and is currently nationally recognized.

  • Diabetes Foundation
    The Diabetes Foundation, Inc., established on August 17, 1990, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the needs of the diabetic community in the New Jersey/New York Metropolitan area. Through the efforts of volunteers, the Diabetes Foundation, Inc. focuses its efforts on providing public and professional education, diabetic children's camp scholarships, and indigent assistance with diabetic medications and supplies in an effort to improve the quality of life for people with diabetes.
  • Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation
    Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation (DRWF) is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Their mission is to help find the cure for diabetes and until that goal is achieved, to provide the care needed to combat the detrimental and life-threatening complications of this terrible disease. Since the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundations inception in 1993 they have awarded more than $25 million in research and educational grants for the cure to world-renowned clinics, hospitals and institutions.
  • European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD)
    In 1965 first General Assembly of the EASD was held with Dr. A.E. Renold and 220 participants in Montecatini, Italy. Today, the EASD has over 8000 members, a monthly journal, and an Annual Meeting. In recent years, other associations and institutions, and academic associations from other fields of health care are looking to EASD to provide expertise when formulating statements on specific topics relating to diabetes standards.
