WelChol® (colesevelam hydrochloride) Tablets are indicated as adjunctive therapy to diet and exercise for the reduction of elevated LDL cholesterol in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia. Initial dose: 3 tablets taken twice per day with meals or 6 tablets once per day with a meal. Can be increased to 7 tablets per day, depending upon the desired therapeutic effect. Active Ingredients: Colesevelam hydrochloride.
