Simcor® (simvastatin/niacin) Extended-Release Tablet is indicated as an adjunct to diet when the response to a diet restricted in saturated fat and cholesterol and other nonpharmacologic measures alone has been inadequate in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia, mixed dyslipidemia or hypertriglyceridemia. Recommended initial dose: 500mg/20mg. Recommended maintenance dose: 1000mg/20mg to 2000mg/40mg. Active ingredients: simvastatin/niacin extended-release.
