NovoLog® Mix70/30 FlexPen® allows for simple dosing with its easy dosing mechanism. 1-unit increments for up to 60 units. The dosage of NovoLog® Mix 70/30 must be individualized. Fixed ratio insulins are typically dosed on a twice daily basis, i.e. before breakfast and supper, with each dose intended to cover two meals or a meal and a snack. NovoLog® Mix 70/30 is intended only for subcutaneous injection and can be dosed within 15 minutes of meal initiation. NovoLog® Mix 70/30 should not be administered intravenously.
