MEVACOR® (lovastatin)

MEVACOR® (lovastatin) is a HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor isolated from a strain of Aspergillus terreus. Usual recommended starting dose: 20mg once daily with evening meal. Recommended dosage range: 10mg to 80mg in a single or two divided doses. Maximum recommended dose: 80mg daily. Active Ingredients: Lovastatin.
