Lantus® is a once-daily, 24-hour basal insulin for control of hyperglycemia in type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Should be administered subcutaneously once a day at the same time every day. The desired blood glucose levels as well as the doses and timing of anti-diabetes medications must be determined individually. Active Ingredients: Insulin glargine dissolved in a clear aqueous fluid.
