GLUCOTROL® (glipizide) Tablets

GLUCOTROL® is an oral blood-glucose-lowering drug of the sulfonylurea class. Indicated as an adjunct to diet for the control of hyperglycemia and its associated symptomatology in patients with type 2 diabetes after an adequate trial of dietary therapy has proved unsatisfactory.

How Supplied/Sizing

Tablet: 5mg, 10mg. Recommended starting dose: 5mg, given before breakfast. Maximum recommended once daily dose: 15mg. Maximum recommended total daily dose: 40mg. Doses above 15mg should ordinarily be divided and given before meals of adequate caloric content. Active Ingredients: Glipizide.
