DiaBeta® is an oral blood-glucose-lowering drug indicated as an adjunct to diet to lower the blood glucose in patients with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (type 2) whose hyperglycemia cannot be controlled by diet alone. Usual initial dose: 2(1/2)mg to 5mg daily, administered with breakfast or the first main meal. Active Ingredients: Glyburide.
