Apidra® is a rapid-acting prandial insulin for control of hyperglycemia in type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Should be given within 15 minutes before a meal or within 20 minutes after starting a meal. Intended for subcutaneous administration and for use by external infusion pump; dosage should be individualized and determined based on physician's advice in accordance with patient's needs. Active Ingredients: Per ml: 3.49mg insulin glulisine, 3.15mg m-cresol, 6mg tromethamine, 5mg sodium chloride, 0.01mg polysorbate 20 and water for injection.
