Amaryl® is an orally administered, once-daily hypoglycemic sulfonylurea indicated in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, in association with exercise and a controlled diet. Usual initial dose: 1mg to 2mg once daily, administered with breakfast or the first main meal. Usual maintenance dose: 1mg to 4mg once daily. Active Ingredients: Glimepiride.
